Alberto Contador sets the new Everesting record!

After EF Education First’s Lachlan Morton, Bend36 team partner for the 2020 season, Everesting‘s record remains for an athlete close to the Bend36 brand, none other than Alberto Contador, who has overcome the 8,848 meters in altitude – the altitude of the Everest – in 7 hours 27 minutes and 20 seconds.

The previous record set in June by Lachlan Morton was 7 hours 29 minutes and 57 seconds.

The Spanish “Pistolero” did not choose a very long climb, but focused on only one kilometer of the Navapelegrin, north of his hometown Madrid, with an average gradient of 12.9% (difference in altitude of 124 meters) and maximum peaks at 20%, repeated 76 times.

Now we just have to ask ourselves how many Bend36 Light Legs Gel creams Alberto used after this feat!
